Northgate School seeks a Deputy Headteacher to join our senior leadership team, supporting the Headteacher in delivering exceptional education to vulnerable pupils with mental health challenges. Based at Edgware Community Hospital, our 'Outstanding' Ofsted-rated school (February 2023) educates up to 40 day and inpatient students in a nurturing environment.

We are looking for an enthusiastic leader with a proven classroom track record and a passion for inclusive education. Prior middle/senior leadership experience with successful school improvement is crucial. The Deputy Headteacher will play a central role in fostering flexibility and creativity to drive the school forward, aligning with the current educational landscape and the SEND and Alternative Provision Improvement Plan.

The successful candidate will receive comprehensive training and induction on mental health and working within this specialised environment.
